Growing up within a traditional Indian home where every meal was homemade using fresh seasonal ingredients, aromatic spices & infused with herbs has instilled high expectations of good comfort food and inspired my love for cooking.

My favourite nostalgic Indian dish is vegetable biriyani. It has a wonderful array of mixed fresh vegetables seasoned with piquant spices, just perfect to warm your heart and stomach. Amongst the other cuisines I enjoy are Mexican, Italian, Thai and a recently discovered adoration for Vietnamese. Working at Season has given me a great opportunity to learn about and discover the world of flavours and I look forward to venturing further on this journey.

Although my background is rooted in traditional Italian cooking (my forte is baking focaccia and most Italian classics, but I'm open to modern twists as long it's not cream in Carbonara!), I love cooking Thai and Indian cuisine. My current food related obsession is making the perfect chocolate Babka (maybe a savoury one too).

In our household, seasonal fresh food cooked from scratch was always abundant thanks to the women in my life that inspired me, with their passion for feeding people. I love cooking because each time I get a little nostalgic of home in Italy, I can cook something my mum or my nonna used to make and instantly feel at home.
